Dr Christopher Richardson is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and academic member of the ITU, IISP and IAAC. He has brought to BUCSU a wealth of operational and tactical experience from his previous RAF & Civil Service roles within the UK’s Ministry of Defence and its Defence College of Communication and Information Systems (DCCIS).
With over 500 students having already attended the University’s developed Security Degree Courses, the Unit offers a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to this rapidly expanding multi-sector, multi-disciplinary digital science. Our collaborative security research covers FinTech, Homeland Security, Digital Security Services (enhanced SOCs), Supply-Chain Security, Financial Fraud and Data Protection.
The Unit works closely with Government Departments, NGOs, the National Crime Agency (NCA); Regional Organised Crime Units (ROCUs), UK Intelligence Agencies and the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and other global law enforcement agencies. Our innovative Nano-learning and Cyber-Synthetic Laboratories have inspired students and staff into many roles, challenges and management resolutions which they continue to share, create and develop our global presence.
